Well, well, well….

What have we here, then? Are my eyes deceiving me?

Please do not adjust your set. After an online hiatus of nearly four years, we finally have a new website!

I can explain everything. Y’see, it’s kind of the case of the mechanic’s car… being a professional web-type person, the last thing I want to do when I get home after a day slaving over a hot keyboard is do more web design! But a promise is a promise. Getting the Catalyst Studios website up and running was my #1 New Year’s Resolution… and about the only one I’ve managed to keep so far!

So what can you expect from the site now? Well, seeing as it’s not so much of a swine to update (why the heck did I use Flash for the last one?), we’ll hopefully see a few blog posts a week, as well as lots of new artwork- we’ve had four years to produce some, after all.

You’ll have to excuse us while we get used to the new system; I love WordPress to bits, but I had to bend it a bit out of shape in places to get it to do some of the things I wanted. Spot illustrations and other presentational bits may appear out of nowhere – this is normal. Do not be alarmed. If you’re of a mind, you can subscribe to our RSS feed to keep up-to-date with what’s going on; any major changes will certainly warrant a new post.

So, sit back, relax and take a look round the site… there’ll be content soon, I promise!

You been checking up on me, or has Mark or Jack been blabbing? 😀

Thanks for the kind words guys… I won’t lie and say it’s been more fun than I can handle, but it’s certainly been… interesting.

Now I just need to get some content on here!

I see you’ve fixed it so we can comment on our images now – but try clicking on an image with a comment, then viewing one without…. 😉

Yes I’ve noticed that. Someone (*ahem* MIKE *ahem*) must edit the gallery so all the images have comments. Go on. You know you want to.

This is a limitation of the software. Don’t blame me. Easy fix is to caption them all with a space. That’s all you need to do.

Also, I don’t have everyone’s artwork for the past 10 years – just what I have personally, and a few scans you guys sent me FOUR YEARS AGO when I made the last website. In no way do I want to be a meteorological thief, but I can only post what I have, ye ken?

In a similar vein, if you know what the heck is in some of the pictures, please feel free to caption them yer frickin’ selves, cus, y’know, I have too much free time.

It is almost done. I’ve captioned the Faster Than Light Gallery, but could Mike possibly so the Seven Seals gallery, ‘cos I wouldn’t have the foggiest. Then all the images will be captioned – we must remember to caption new ones.
